Sailfest Governor’s Cup “A-Cat” Races

All A-Cat sailboats welcome! Yacht Club Membership is not required.
Where: Island Heights Yacht Club (Island Heights, NJ)
Registration: 11:00-12:00 PM at Island Heights Yacht Club. $40 Entry Fee.
Skipper’s Meeting: 12:00 PM on the south side (rear) of the IHYC
Harbor Gun: 12:30 PM
1st Race Start: 1:00 PM
Last Race Start: NLT 3:00 PM
Number of races: 2 planned, all races will finish at IHYC.
Starting Sequence: Per RRS 26 (e.g. 5-4-1-start, with automated horn system)
Race Area: Toms River, Start & Finish IHYC Dock
Courses: Windward/Leewards with possible offset TBD. One race will constitute a regatta.
Special Rules: Single turn for fouls
Racing Instructions will be distributed at the Skipper’s Meeting. US Coast Guard approved life jackets must be worn while on the water. All life jackets must have a whistle.
Awards:
Top 3 (participation allowing)
Winner will be presented the Toms River Rotary Governor’s Cup & Wanamaker Trophy
