Island Heights Pavilion & Water Front Boardwalk for Sailfest NJ
From Garden State Parkway Exit 82:
- Follow Rte. 37 East for about 2.8 miles to the 6th traffic light (Vaughn and West End Aves)
- Turn right onto West End Ave, heading south to Island Heights
- For the Parking Shuttle, turn left onto Lake Ave, continue for 1 block
- For street parking, turn left onto Ocean Ave. The Sailfest NJ area continues for 6 blocks.
From Philadelphia and the west:
- Follow Rte. 70 to Lakehurst
- Just past Lakehurst, turn right onto Rte. 37
- Continue about 6.3 miles to the Garden State Parkway overpass at Toms River
- Follow Exit 82 directions as described to the left
From Seaside beaches and the East:
- Follow NJ-37 W to Toms River (heading West)
- Exit to the right toward Vaughn Ave, then turn left onto Vaughn Ave
- When you cross Hwy 37, Vaughn Ave turns into West End Ave. Follow West End Ave into Island Heights (heading South)

For the Parking Shuttle, turn left onto Lake Ave, continue for 1 block. For street parking, turn left onto Ocean Ave. The Sailfest NJ area continues for 6 blocks.

Shuttle Service
A free SailfestNJ Shuttle and handicap parking area is provided from the ball field near the Island Heights Fire Dept at 15 Lake Ave, Island Heights, NJ 08732. The shuttle does not have a wheelchair lift.
Please note – the last return SailfestNJ Shuttle departs Letter Park at 7pm
Pets
Crowds and hot pavement are not comfortable for pets and we suggest you leave them at home. Leashed, well behaved dogs are permitted in the street vendor area, but are not allowed in the fenced food truck / entertainment area or on the boardwalk
Parking
We highly recommend you use our complimentary SailfestNJ Shuttle Service but if you decide to drive to the event, ample free street parking is available throughout the Island Heights area. Please be courteous to residents and do not block driveways or park too close to intersections.
